Try-It-Tuesday: Pretzel Crisps

Years ago, when I was a kindergarten teacher in Canada, I discovered that the other teachers (and a large portion of the older-than-kindy student population) loved me because of my snacks. I served snacks to my students and I would SHARE with others (mostly pregnant teachers and gawky eighth graders). When we left Canada I was even serenaded with a song written just for me where I was labeled, "The Snack Queen."

I'm telling you this so you understand that I love a good snack. Take me seriously because I know a good snack when I eat it. Now, pay attention because I'm about to introduce you to my newest and favoritest snack. Pretzel crisps.

Pretzel Crisps are wonderful, thin, crisp cracker thingies. (You knew they were going to be thin and crisp, didn't you?) If you could smash a pretzel into a cracker/chip you would be the makers of Pretzel Crisps. This healthy treat is sold in the deli section of your grocery store and comes in different flavors. They look great with a sandwich. (Or just scarfed from the bag...)

Their website (http://www.pretzelcrisps.com/) says you can drag them in dip or stack them high with cracker toppings, but I've only crunched 'em plain. The "Everything" flavor is my standard (I hesitate to say "favorite"... see below), and the boys like the Buffalo wing and mustard flavors the best.

Just a word of warning: If you are not the snack-sharing-kind I suggest you get the chocolate dipped Pretzel Crisps and hide in the closet!!

When you're done with your snack run on over to Mrs. Who's and see what other people have tried this Tuesday!

Thanks so much for participating!! And I have some chocolate dipped pretzel in my cupboard right now - those 100-calorie ones. But these look much better!

Yummy! These are some of my family's favorite "pretzels". We love the garlic and onion flavor.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Mmm...snacks...I'm really big on snack foods myself. I love pringles (honey mustard's my flavor). I love star bites (candy coated peanuts). I love white yogurt pretzels, yogurt covered raisins are ok (my kids love them), and chocolate covered anything, except bugs. Are chocolate covered ants and roaches really the actual bugs? I don't know, but I'm not going there. I also love spinach dip, french onion dip, ranch dip, polynesian sauce...mmm...like I said, I love snacks. And now you know I love dips too!

I la-la-LOVE these. I actually buy mine from Trader Joe's (they're the first ones to have them, then I think others followed suit) - they're not as heavy as pretzels but still all of that salty goodness. YUM!
