Thristy Thursday: Pink Lemonade Margaritas

I found a little bit of blogging fun over at A Little Birdie Told Me. Ryann hosts a carnival called, Thirsty Thursday. Simple enough, I figured... just share a drink recipe. So here goes.
I found this recipe a few months ago on the Kraftfoods website. I love a good margarita, and I like pink lemonade so this was an easy winner for me. I make the "adult" version for the adults and my kids love the Pink Lemonade Slushies I make for them. (I also love that this recipe is made from Crystal Light... easy ingredient and no calories...)
Bust open a bag of chips with salsa, leave a comment and then head on over to A Little Birdie Told Me for a yummy pumpkin latte recipe. Just like Starbucks, I hear.

PINK LEMONADE MARGARITAS

1 tub CRYSTAL LIGHT Pink Lemonade Drink Mix
1-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup orange juice
1 Tbsp. lime juice
tequila (to yoru liking or not at all :) )
5 cups crushed ice
Mix the drink mix, water, orange juice, lime juice and tequila (maybe...) in the blender. Add in the ice and blend until slushy consistency of your dreams. Makes 4 or 5 drinks.

To answer your question about my salad recipe - the rice layer is pretty thick and solid, and sweet. I guess you could say it's a bit like rice pudding. Rice is cheap - try mixing up just the rice layer and eat a few spoonfuls warm out of the pan before you chill and add the pie filling on top. Let me know what you think.
