Too many stuffed animals roaming the closets and floors of your family zoo? Put a hamper on animal abundance! Take the stuffed animals out of those "holding cages" (re: laundry baskets or other flat, open box) and move them to new, more secure "habitats" (re:hampers).
Each one of my zookeepers (re: sons) now has a stand up hamper like this one for his stuffed animals. No more animal escapage!! (The vertical walls and lid might have something to do with that...) The three habitats stand nicely in along the short wall of the closet, ahem, I mean zoo.

VERY cute! I've been trying to think of an original way to store my baby's stuffed animals...i typically shoot for the hanging-on-a-chain-in-the-corner bit, but that's getting kinda boring. I love this tip! When my son gets older I think I'll decorate the hampers in different ways too (grey..green..barnyard red..) whoohoo!..im excited about this idea! thanks!
Great idea! You should also check out the Boon animal storage bags. Although more expensive, they also serve as beanbag seats...pretty cool!
I thought I was the only one doing this. LOL!
It really works, doesn't it.
You can find out what works for me ::here::
Have a wonderful day!
What a great idea! As someone who had (and still has) way too many stuffed animals :-) those pesky creatures are always getting out.
I love your entry about storing stuffed animals in hampers. In your hamper picture, there are holes, so the animals can still breathe in the "zoo."
Good idea! :)
Thanks for visiting me today. Your blog looks very cute and I am going to go read some more now. I hope to see you again.
