Just Not What It Used to Be...

My Dad had a doctor's appointment yesterday. He met with the doctor and then caught up with me in the waiting room. As we were getting on the elevator he snapped his fingers and said, "I forgot to ask her what I could take for my memory."

Bahahahahahaaaaaaa! I love him.

hahahaha! I love it. Sounds just like my dad, and he would be serious!
Loved the note you sent me. Love you dear!
Oh, by the way (your post reminded me to tell you), I had updated testing done on everything, and had pleasant results. Praise God!

Sounds like my Mom too. I feel so bad, she gets so hard on herself about it too. Sucks getting old.

As my father's mental capacity begins to fade, I find him funnier and funnier.
(He also by the way WAS given something for his memory.) I can ask my mother what it is if you like.

Funny - I hope I have as much charm when I get to that age as my dad and it sounds like your dad as well.

Did he go back and ask her? I need to jump start my memory. I am calling my kids by the wrong names. Ha Ha
